The Symbiot app

Symbiot runs on your computer. Your projects, mail, chats and tasks are read and kept on your own devices, and we don’t receive them. Where Symbiot uses an AI service or a connection you set up (for example your coding agent, mail or calendar), your data goes to that service under your own account and its terms, not through us.

This website

Pages are served by GitHub Pages. We note which channel a visitor arrived from (the utm_source on a link) in the browser to know what works; this is not tied to your identity and we use no advertising trackers.

Buying Pro

To sell you Pro, Paddle collects your name, email, country, tax details and payment details at checkout. Paddle is the seller of record and handles your payment data under its own privacy policy; we never see your card number. We receive your name, email, the plan, the amount and the status of the payment (paid, renewed, cancelled, refunded) so we can email your licence key and look after your subscription.

What we keep and why

Order records and your email are kept to deliver the key, give support and meet tax and accounting rules, for as long as those require. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to sales@symbiot.co.za. If you are in South Africa you may also complain to the Information Regulator; elsewhere, to your local data protection authority.
